  • Users must possess adequate travel insurance for destination activities
  • Medical clearance may be required for certain expedition-style services
  • Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in destination countries

2.3 Account Responsibility

When engaging our services, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account information, providing accurate personal details, and promptly updating us of any changes that may affect your travel arrangements.

3. Prohibited Uses and Conduct

3.1 Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in any of the following activities:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of meriidianlluxese or third parties
  • Transmit harmful, threatening, or fraudulent communications
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or client information

3.2 Travel Conduct Standards

  • Follow environmental protection guidelines and leave-no-trace principles
  • Comply with safety instructions and protocols provided by guides and staff
  • Treat fellow travelers, local communities, and service providers with respect
  • Refrain from behaviors that could endanger yourself or others

3.3 Consequences of Violations

Violations of these terms may result in immediate termination of services, removal from travel experiences, legal action, and liability for damages. No refunds will be provided for services terminated due to user misconduct.

4. Booking, Payment, and Cancellation Terms

4.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings require written confirmation and deposit payment
  • Service agreements become binding upon our written acceptance
  • Pricing is subject to change until booking confirmation is received
  • Special requests and modifications may incur additional fees
  • Travel dates and itineraries may be adjusted due to circumstances beyond our control

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Deposit payments are required to secure bookings (typically 25-50% of total cost)
  • Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure for most services
  • Payments must be made in Singapore Dollars unless otherwise specified
  • Late payment fees may apply for overdue balances
  • All prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

4.3 Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • More than 90 days: Full refund minus 5% administrative fee
  • 60-89 days: 75% refund of total payment
  • 30-59 days: 50% refund of total payment
  • Less than 30 days: No refund unless covered by travel insurance
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days to original payment method
  • Force majeure events may allow modified refund terms at our discretion

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Company Content

  • All website content, itineraries, and service descriptions remain property of meriidianlluxese
  • Trademarks, logos, and brand elements are protected intellectual property
  • Users receive limited, non-exclusive license for personal use only
  • Commercial use of our content requires written permission
  • Photography and videos from experiences may be used for marketing purposes

5.2 User-Generated Content

  • Reviews, testimonials, and feedback may be used in marketing materials
  • Users retain ownership of personal photos and content they create

6.3 Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, travel restrictions, or supplier failures. We will work to provide alternative arrangements when possible.

6.4 Travel Insurance Requirement

All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and emergency evacuation. We can provide recommendations but are not responsible for insurance claims or coverage gaps.

7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

7.1 Resolution Process

  1. Direct Communication: Initial attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication with our client services team
  2. Mediation: If direct resolution fails, disputes may be referred to professional mediation services
  3. Arbitration: Binding arbitration under Singapore Arbitration Centre rules if mediation is unsuccessful
  4. Legal Action: Court proceedings only after exhausting alternative dispute resolution methods

7.2 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore
  • Disputes are subject to Singapore court jurisdiction
  • International clients consent to Singapore law and jurisdiction
  • Consumer protection laws of client's residence may also apply

7.3 Time Limitations

Claims must be filed within one year of the completion of services or the date when the issue reasonably should have been discovered. This limitation period applies to all claims whether based in contract, tort, or other legal theories.

8. Termination of Services

8.1 Termination Rights

  • Either party may terminate services with appropriate notice as specified in service agreements
  • Immediate termination is permitted for violations of these terms
  • We may terminate services if continuation becomes unsafe or impractical
  • Clients may terminate services subject to cancellation policies

8.2 Effects of Termination

  • Payment obligations for services rendered remain in effect
  • Confidentiality and intellectual property provisions survive termination
  • Return or destruction of materials may be required
  • Refunds are calculated according to applicable cancellation policies

8.3 Post-Termination Obligations

Following termination, both parties remain bound by confidentiality agreements, payment obligations for completed services, and any survival clauses specified in the service agreement.

9. General Provisions

9.1 Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between parties and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to the subject matter.
